Dear All,

Planning to take Oracle Certified Associate(1Z0-007 & 1Z0-147) exam.

Does anyone preparing for the same. If so, can you give me information about this exam.

like tutorials in the web, etc

You can seek for the ILT materials. This is the offical resource recommended by Oracle University.

Dear Nick,

I think you can get it only if u buy the courses from Oracle. Those course fees are too much for me to buy. Any other tutorials..

I passed 1Z0-007 a couple months ago. I used appropriate sections of one the "Complete Reference" books by Oracle Press.

Despite the fact that SQL is a basic topic, the test was actually rather challenging.

I will prepare for 1Z0-147 around the end of this year. I'll probably order the "Oracle Database 10g PL/SQL Programming" book. Eventhough the test is for 9i, what I have installed at home for practice is 10g, plus I want to learn the latest material.

I too preparing for 1Z0-007.. can u tell me, typically how long it will take to prepare that exam (assume that the candidate knows some basic sql commands and some experience).

I am trying to finish this within 2 weeks.. is that possible...

Give me some tips on that...

My preparation time for 1Z0-007 was also around 2 weeks.

You can try to see whether any of your friends or workmates took the corresponding training courses and get the materials.

This is the only material you have to use, as you will find questions asked in the exam can be exactly found from the text.
