hi, to those who have read both books,

for preparing for ibm 486, can i read just the hf design patterns, instead of the book by Larman?

assuming that i read UML distilled too

*NO WAY*

There are just a few design patterns questions in ooad test. You don't need any design patterns book for the exam - all what you need is covered in Larman's book.
