I preparing for SCWCD and just wondering which certification is more valuable?

I just thought SCWCD is more tough than IBM 484? Please comment for my thought.

My answer is SCWCD + SCBCD + some J2EE technologies = IBM 484.

My opinion is IBM exams are in general more tough than Sun's.

You can't compare 484 with SCWCD .... 484 includes EJB's and some other J2EE technologies which SCWCD doesnot

As Peter said

SCWCD + SCBCD + some J2EE technologies = IBM 484

As far as toughness is concerned .... I have heard that IBM certifications are more tough ... although I haven't attemted any SUN certification uptill now.

Depends on what aspect you are talking about. For certification, SCWCD is more valuable, as it is a certificate, while IBM 484 alone is not. You have to pass also SCJP, IBM 287 and IBM 486 to get the ICED v5.0 certificate.

I just thought SCWCD is more tough than IBM 484? Please comment for my thought.

I would distingish the 2 exams as follows:
SCWCD required you to have in depth Web component knowledge while IBM 484 required you to have a wide range but NOT too in depth of J2EE components knowledge.

Thus, while is more tough?

I agree. Acutally, the toughness of IBM exams are due to the lack of study materials.
