Hello Friends,

I have started my preparation for Test 486. Still I am not sure whether on completion of the test successfully will I get a Certificate or not?
If it is just a score, how do I prove that I have cleared the test and my score ?

Do I need to clear any other certification to qualify for Test 486?

Please reply me, I dont want to proceed my preparation with all these thoughts in my mind.

Note:
Could someone send me the link to the list of Test centres? I tried but I am not getting it.

thanks,
-Kannan

There's no separate certificate for passing IBM 486, no. IT's not it's own certification when it stands alone, but rather is part of their solution developer certification. (You get your score report, and that's it.) That's not to say that it's not worthwhile, because I certainly did think it was worth something, but you don't get something to show for it.

As for how to prove that you cleared it, you will at least have the report when you leave the center.

Thanks a lot. IBM should atleast give a webpage for each user who has cleared their exam so that employers can verify it.
