i am assuming you have browsed the webpages by ibm on this exam.
the book mentioned there, by 'Gary Craig and Peter Jakab' is the book i used.
you will notice in ibm's site that there is a new exam for the newer version (RAD).

i am not familiar with the new exam.
ibm 285 is still available. i used ibm's 10$ sample exam. i saw somewhere this: CERTIFICATEGUIDE.COM 39.99us$

I dont get this information in IBM website.

It is weekend so you might get reply on Monday.
Exams do not usually get retired that quickly. Even as there is a new one, the old one is still offered.
Btw, the new exam came out just recently I think.

Test 255 is the latest version. It was published late last Spring. I have not yet seen the plans for when Test 285-287 will be sunset.
As for study guides, Peter Jakab and myself are in the process (slow) of creating the corresponding Certification Guide for Test 255. We are trying to learn from the past comments from this forum to improve the usability of this next certification guide.
