IBM has announced that the certificate of WebSphere Studio V5.0 will be withdrawn on December 31, 2006. #486 is part of the certificate, so I guess it is going to be history. Am I right?

Yes the old Websphere 5.0 certifications are being replaced by the new Rational certifications.
