I passed RAD 6.0 257 sample test a week ago, but I have not got the vouch yet. I am wondering if 257 is valid for this promotion. Has Anyone gotten the vouch for 257? Thanks, [ October 02, 2006: Message edited by: Adam Tao ]
If you visit rational product web site, you can't find any information for the 50% discount program information whereas you can find it in the websphere product web site.
257 is not there under promotion scheme...i know 257 sample assesment test is for free ...i too took it...But IBM said that "All Rational" tests are excluded from promotion... So unfortunately you wont get voucher;(

1. A test candidate may qualify for one or more voucher numbers, which can be used to register for and take any one of the actual IBM WebSphere, SOA and XML certification tests listed on http://www-03.ibm.com/certify/tests/test_index_bd.shtml for a 50% discount
2. To qualify for one or more voucher numbers, a test candidate must pass the pre-assessment/sample test that aligns to any one of the actual desired IBM WebSphere, SOA and XML certification tests for which a voucher number is sought. The pre-assessment/sample test must be passed in September 2006.
The promotion is limited to "IBM WebSphere, SOA and XML certification tests".
Nick : I think both Peter and Prashant are right . if you go to the link which you posted there are different sections . IBM gave this link because they want to limit the promotion to websphere, soa and xml.
Also I haven't received the voucher for 257 even though i passed the sample long back(of course in sept). but i got voucher for 665 even though i wrote it long after 257.
did anybody got voucher for 142??i am still waiting for it?
I also passed the test on the last day.when i asked IBM they told that they were not able to find my test.
The reason being that the time shown on the Prometric is GMT and it is showing as "10/1/2006 12:56:50 AM (GMT+0:00)" which is before 12 in usa . I am in EST. I told IBM the same . i dont know what they are going to do. whether they will consider it or not.... wait & see.
