Hi,
I'm planning to prepare for "IBM WebSphere V6 Administration" certification. Please let me know some links to sample questions. I've got Red books for study material, which is exceptional, but no idea about the pattern of question. Also, I would like to have some tips and advice from those who are already certified.

I will move this post to the "Product and Other Certifications" forum. I expect if you look in that forum you may find some answers to your questions, too.

Hi Aron,

I am also planning to write this exam (I believe exam# 252, right?) but I could not find the exam study book on RedBooks site. Could you please email it to me at saeedamer@yahoo.com ?

Thanks a bunch in advance!

Go to this URL http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg246451.html?Open
I think you would be having this book. Its enough to give you theoritical orientation. But it wont give any idea about the pattern of questions.
Regards
Arun

Thanks Aron! I already have this book and it is HUGE!

Did you get any information on the type of questions on the exam, or links to any Mock exams?

Thanks again!

Hi,
I am part of a J2EE development team(1 yr experience) in an IT Industry. Even I have keen interest in doing these certifications . Can anyone help me what job does a websphere administrator do. I mean does he also have to do the development of a J2EE application and then deploy using the Web Sphere Administration skills or Just he is entitled to deploy the J2EE application developed by developers from the development team which is a very responsible job infact. Can i get an advice if I seek career in only Websphere administration and not development.

Regards,
Hitesh
