I cleared IBM 000-142 : XML certification with 100%.

I would suggest you to go thru' all tutorials provided by IBM and get hands on.

I am preparing for IBM 142 as well, what do you recommed?

just IBM tutorials? any other link? I am studying XPath these days. But any other information will be more than welcome.
