I was quite delighted to see that this forum caters to discussions on IBM certifications too.

Currently I am preparing for the Test 285 - IBM Certified Associate Developer exam. I have gone through the exam objectives and I think this exam suits a lot to my job role.

I do have a good working knowledge of WSAD 5.0 after hanging around with it fro around 1 year. I am reading a book by the name -

An Introduction to Web Application Development with IBM Websphere Studio
- Gary Craig and Peter Jakab.

Is this book enough to get a good score in the exam ?
Is it really compulsory / necessary to appear for the online sample tests ?
Do we have any Prometric test centre in Pune(India) that administers IBM tests ?
Do you have anything with you that will add to my preparation ?

Need guidance,
Thanks in advance.

IBM 000-285 is gonna be discontinued *very* *soon*, do you know that ?

It's replaced by IBM 000-255.
