Hi All - With a 75. Not a great score, but it is done.
Actual test very much like the sample questions posted on the IBM site.
Did not use "XML Bible".
Did use the actual spec's, XML In A Nutshell, XML Development with Java 2, various web sites.
My best to all, Guy

CONGRATULATIONS
That is great score. Don't worry about the score. It is very , very important that you have achieved something. So , savour every moment of success. it is generally sweet as it comes after a lots of hard work. so , Don't measure Success with %. Be happy.

One more thing. Now , you can help out other javaranchers with your valuable experience that you have gained. it is always great feeling when you share something. As old proverb goes " Knowledge increases by sharing ". All the very best for the future.
Rita , Your Suggesstions are great. From where do you get such ideas?
Ajith , so what's up ? XML REsults Forum ?
Your Friendly Bartender
Shailesh

Hi All - Thanks for all of the replies.
Other than the IBM site, the only sample questions I ever saw were those posted by Ajith recently.
I really think that someone somewhere should start to put together a database of sample questions and answers.
I think this is the best 'xml' forum around. Most of the others are less than informative.
Regards, Guy

Hi all again -
To add to my previous post - I would take the time to try and write some sample questions and answers. IF I can know that they will be saved in some public place.
A minimum suggestion: Ajith - could you create a separate 'permanent' thread where sample Q+A's are listed? Only you should be able to add to the thread after open discussion.
Just a thought.
Regards, Guy

Idea look too appealing... Ajith is very busy with his J.O.B. right now, but I am persistently trying to attract his attention to this thread. After all, if he get fired, he can spend more time here...

Wow! Look at the enthusiasm. I'm really impressed.
Fine, we can do a XML Certification Mock exam with sample Q&A. Instead of doing it as another thread, we could do it just like the SCJP FAQ and have a link to it from this forum page.
I am really busy at work right now, but we can have this up and running within the next week, atleast with the questions we discussed in the Discussion about XML Certification post to begin with. I will try to add a few questions every week from then on. I'm sure this is going to make JavaRanch quite popular for yet another certification discussion and we'll be the first one!!
If you folks have any specific topics to be discussed covered in the mock exam, please email me at ajith@javaranch.com. Since I receive atleast about 20 emails a day, I may not be able to reply to all, so please don't get Be assured I will read all the emails Long emails are hard to read, please try keep it concise. ( KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid )

Ofcourse my good friend Map (aka wise women of the HTML/JSP universe ) will help me out in this venture. Thanks Map!!
Stay tuned....
