Discussion about XML Certification" has a phrase by Mapraputa:
XML itself is easy; surrounding technologies make it difficult.

What are surrounding technologies in objectives of IBM Test 140 "IBM Certified Deveploper - XML related Technologies, V1"?

Also, I changed my opinion about XML since then. It looks easy, if you do not think deep enough, but it's easiness is deceptive. XML deviant is the best source of XML wisdom.
Hope that helps

Mapraputa (impossible to spell if not to know your russian counter-part),
I always was sure that it is not difficult and there is no sense to frighten yourself (and others). It is better just avoid to overburden your head by unnecessary things, at least before getting paid for this.
Thanks for a reference
