Hi,
Have anyone used the test simulator from
XML@Whix? Someone told me that there were
a lots of mistakes in this tool and the
customer support from XML@Whiz was not good.
Is that true?

Jim,
I'm currently using this tool to know my knowledge levels. It's a good tool in this aspect. It's true that there are some mistakes wrt answers but not too many. Customer support is not available. The tool instructions say that we need to score 38 to pass the exam but when I get 30, the result is displayed as pass. I don't know what that means..I've put a query to XML@Whiz on this but i didn't get any response.
The questions are also bit tough and syntax oeiented...
I still feel that it's better to get this tool to measure your self before taking the actual exam. You will know your weak areas and can try to concentrate on these..
I hope this helps..
Good luck,
Rakesh.

Rakesh,
Are we talking about the same tool? The one my
friend got contains the one diagnostic and
practice tests. Each test
has 57 questions for 90 minutes, and the passing
score is 50%. When did you get yours? My friend
got his about a month ago.
I think the real passing score is 60% for IBM
test 141.

I was using this tool when I prepared my test and
found that there were too many mistakes in the tool and too little helps from the tech support
of XML@WhizLab although they said so. Some explanations were misleading. Then I
stopped using it. This is my comments.

Hi,
There is a sample test suite of 39 questions available at TopXML :
XML Whiz.
You can try that out to get an idea.
