Hi,
On the web, we have lot of tutorials and links for XML and all related technologies.
Do we still need books like professional XML ?
Thanks,

The short answer is "No". You don't need to buy any book to get the certification. In my opinion, having a book is a convienience but not required for clearing the exam. Besides no book covers 100 percent of the test objectives.
I personally know of a couple of guys who cleared the exam only by looking at the W3C site. Besides a lot of sample chapters of several books are available online. If you have the time to go through the online material, then I am sure it is no big deal to clear the examination without the book.
