Hi , I cleared the IBM XML certification today with 68%. I found this forum very useful. I should say that the exam is pretty tough.I mostly used Professional XML 2E.I would recommend reading the W3C technical notes also, especially for XPath, XSLT and Schema. There are lot of questions on schema.
Congrats! Can you talk more about your preparation, time, and speculate more on the percentages of different parts on your exam. Did you practice using tools? Thanks a lot. [ August 26, 2002: Message edited by: jim yin ]

Glen-->No. This was my second time first time I got 59%. Vinayak-->The questions on DOM/SAX were conceptual. For SAX mostly the questions were related to implementation of interfaces and when to use SAX. There was one syntax question on DOM on the getting the attribute for an element. Jim--> I read mostly from Professional XML for the first time. But then after I gace the test first time, I felt the necessity for reading the W3C specifications. Some of them are easy to read others are a bit difficult. But I did read XPath, XSLT and schema specs. I think anyone who plans to give the test should read these because these topics form a big chunk of the exam. I tried a couple of exams from XMLWhiz but did not find that very helpful. Also definatly give the IBM sample test. There are always a couple of questions from the sample test.
