Hello gang,
I registered to take the IBM XML exam in the spring (March 2002 I believe), and still haven't taken it. It's hard to find the time to study these days, plus this exam is perhaps the toughest I have ever had to study for. I plan to take it two weeks from today.
By the way, I am an MCSD (twice) and Sun Java SCJP with 10 years development experience. All together I think I have taken and passed 12 certification exams on various topics. This exam seems tougher than all of the others I have taken. To me at least.
This forum, by the way is great. I like reading about all the people who successfully passed the exam, and their opinions and reviews of how the exam was. I promise to participate more, and lurk less.
And finally, I just wanted to let people know that I have a copy of "Professional XML" (1st edition) up for sale on eBay. When I finally pass this exam, I'll put the 2nd Edition one up for sale as well, but not yet.
There is also some great Java books - can you believe the high bid is $7.50 for 11 books (Professional XML, 4 Java books, and some others Windows/VB)? Please visit eBay and get a bid in if you're interested.
Best regards to all and best of luck in your studies,
