Following is the excerpt from the page from IBM Website at URL http://www-1.ibm.com/certify/certs/adcdxmlrt.shtml
"
Approximate # of questions: 57
Duration in minutes: 90
Format: multiple-choice
Required Passing Score: 50% for the actual test;
58% for the pre-assessment/sample test
"
Is this true , or the page is old one and not updated since long.? As far as I know it was like minimum 37 out of 74 questions should be answered correctly to clear this exam, ie. minimum passing score is approximately 50%.
Can anyone please confirm/verify it?

As far as I know, the total number is 57. The passing score is 58%. I think your link is updated, does that mean IBM lowered the passing score?

My guess is IBM needs the testers' money to pay their bills.

You mean the recent acquisition of PriceWaterHouseCooper for 3.5 G$ by any chance?

Hi, I am recently in email correspondence with one of the IBM official, dealing with this exam, and this is her response

"The passin score for test 141 is 50% (it was lowered)"
So cheer up fellows.

Thanks Folks,
That's indeed a pretty good news. I am sure for me "patience brings sweet fruites" is true.

Thanks once again,
Mehul.

Hi,
That's great to hear that the pass score is 50%.
Does anybody know whether the objectives for Test-141 are still the same or it got modified too?
Thanks
Shoba

According to my information, what is currently posted on IBM's site is erroneous. Somebody who has some time should e-mail IBM and have IBM either fix their site, or confirm the information.
/////////////////////////////////////
I TOOK THE IBM XML 141 EXAM ON SEPTEMBER 22, 2002:
There were 55 questions.
The passing percentage was 58%.
I did not pass the exam.
///////////////////////////////////////
As for the passing percentage for the sample exam - this has no meaning to me and I do not care. It makes no difference.

Hi, This is the email address of relevant centre. certad@ca.ibm.com .
Well, in their last message, they clearly mentioned that passsing percentage is lowered. I think we can take up this case with IBM, if passing score is not the same as on their website.
Regards, Zeeshan
