Hi, As per Q 33 of PerfectXML.com QUIZ
"Use <xslt:include> to bring the definition from the other stylesheet without change; and use <xslt:import> if there are definitions that you want to override in some cases"

My previous understanding is that we use <xslt:include> when we are including a stylesheet from the same namespace, and <xslt:import>, when importing from another namespace.
Can any one kindly shed more light on that.

I think you are confusing it with the xsd:include and xsd:import in schemas.
