this is the original email i send to IBM:
" I have already got a voucher number.
Surely, there is a IBM Certify Lab in my city,
which is Wuhan city in China.and my city can't be found in the http://www.test2.com.But when I take this voucher number to the Test Center, the manager of the Test Center entered it in register software and then told me that this voucher number is not available!and why?"
And the reply from IBM is:
"If you don't have Prometric test center in your city, but have a VUE test center, we can exchange the voucher for VUE voucher.Send us a note back if you need an exchange."
what is difference between Prometric test and Vue test?

Prometric and Vue are two different companies offering the facility of testing. You can take tests at Prometric or Vue. What IBM means with this answer is that if there is no center for Prometric in your city but a center from Vue, you can exchange your voucher, which is originally meant for Prometric, for Vue.
However, in your case, if your IBM certification center is not listed in www.2test.com website, i would seriously suggest to check if this center you have is an authentic and authorised one! Maybe thats why he said this voucher was not valid at his center!

I guess its a VUE test center. I had a similar problem with my voucher for 512 (db2). My preferred test center
[with nice paternoster elevator to 17. floor with great view over my city ]
is VUE and Prometric center. I had 1 week of trouble, because the apprentice who talked with me allways looked for VUE. Then the boss came back and she looked for prometric and there was authorisation. So confusion stopped.

This is awkward. I've grown a second evil head. I'm going to need a machete and a tiny ad ...
