Regardgin Paasing score

HI
Is IBM 141 ,allways change the passing score of exam .It seems now it is 58% is the passing score.Some time back June when I took exam,I got 63% ,but status failed.I think that time passing score was 65% .
Any idea ???

I think the scores do tend to fluctuate over time - IBM (and other vendors - it's not just them) seems to tweak the number based on the perceived difficulty of the question pool at any given time. The basic idea is to keep the bar at about the same level, so anyone who has a given certification is as qualified (or, at least as knowledgeable) as anyone else who has the certification.
It's not an indication, I don't think, of them making it 'easier' or trying to screw anyone over. (Is it?)

Please be aware of the following of what was said before -
the passing is 59 percent (26 out of 44 questions need to be correct).

The total no. of questions as of 18th Nov' 2002 in the real exam are 55, 58% is the benchmark in 90 minutes. 44 questions are part of the mock exam only.
