What exactly we need to study in DOM and SAX API , for exam point? They are pretty huge, and i don't think that a person should know all the api's in terms of classes and methods. Is there any particular classes or packages that I need to concentrate while preparing for the exam? Regards, Mehul.
I guess we need to know the API in general and if possible, all the methods of the interfaces. One of the best ways to do this is to practice the API with little examples. We can literally get a question from anywhere in the exam based on the API.

Thanks Jayadev, I looked at the SAX2 API after reading your reply, but it has around 192 pages of api documentation, do I have to study this 192 pages for SAX2 API? or there are MAIN INTERFACE CLASSES in the DOM And SAX2 API on which the Exam puts the stress.
I am preparing not for the exam only, but to get overall better knowledge of xml tech. ,but it seems that in the area of DOM and SAX2 it might take a very long time to prepare for the exam, and which might not be the most necessary requirement in real world to know api's in and out. Jayadev, please advise on this. Thanks once again, Mehul.
Here is how I studied & learned the APIs. I print from the JavaDocs: The "tree view" for each of the following: org.w3.dom org.xml.sax Then I print the interfaces for each of the above: org.w2.dom package has 17 interfaces. org.xml.sax package has 11 interfaces. Those are the main thrust of the XML exam. In addition to the above interfaces, know the classes that cover the various Exceptions.
