Hello Ranchers
I just collect the Professional XML first edition by wrox publication. But most of the ranchers talking about 2nd edition. My question is : should I carry on by the first edition. Will it help me to pass the current XML exam ? I have also collect the "Essential XML Quick Reference ".
Please suggest me about my 1st edition book. Just now I want to pass.

I don't know that offhand, most of us would know the answer. (My gut instinct is to say that the first edition probably still is a useable reference, but I don't own either so I wouldn't know.)

Hi Nazma,
From prior posts in this discussion group, it looks like the 2nd edition is way better in terms of covering the various old & New topics and also preparing for the exam, compare to 1st edition.
Regards,
Mehul.

I think you should n't pursue First edition as it has some different terminologies and concepts which are not best suited for Exam secondly it has SAX 1 and DOM 1 but Exam asks SAX2 and DOM2.It is predated so there is no use to use it

I too managed with the first edition. Followed some online resources and all that stuff parallely for DOM, SAX, etc. I bought the first edition by mistake. I suggest you to got for the second one as you had less to worry about the topics we are covering and all that stuff.
