What is the difficulty level of Brainbench XML certification as compared to the IBM certification? Also, does Brainbech certification have the required acceptance in the market?
TIA,

Thank is a good question. I actually have no idea but hopefully someone out there does. I have never really heard of brainbench, but everyone has heard of IBM.

Brainbenchs tests are cheaper; some of them are free. Employer can check the transcripts too. I don't know how much water they hold in employers mind. One possible doubt would be if it were really you who took the test since you can take it at your own home. I only took and passed one free test of theirs, which was Java I. It is certainly much harder and a lot more practical than SCJP test.
Take advantage of their free tests as much as possible. If you have a tight budget, it might be a good choice too. And you still can put some certifications on your resume.

You are right Roseanne!
Even I thought that Brainbench Java was tougher than the SCJP test. I have got this XML test for free through promotion, and I was wondering if someone who has already taken both XML tests could comment on the level of difficulty of these two.
TIA,
- Manish
