hi all.
here is another silent member of the forum
passed with 81% today morning, lost most of my marks in testing and tuning (50%).
I did not read or participate in the discussions here but I used the resources suggested here. I dont think i need to repeat them. Thank to all the members for making this place usefull.
Worked over last two months on and off, used xml@wiz for last one week. I had doubts about the wiz but seems that it helped in building confidence. Somce questions in the exam were similar to Wiz so it was good to have gone through. I guess the WIZ guys need a lesson in english language though some of the questions have a rather funny language.
In the exam the questions in the begning were rather overwhelming, my advice to all test takers is to skip all exhibit/bigger questions towards the end. Once you have completed more then half the exam with smaller and easier questions you gain enough confidence to tackle the bigger ones. I really got nervous in first 20 minutes on my progress, but once i started skipping bigger ones I became very comfortable.
The certification is proving very very valuable since right now i am working on WebLogic Integration stuff which is as good as written in xml This is a rather boring prepration and needs a lot of motivation. For guys who start running low on motivation I would recommend solve as many rendring and schema questions as you can when you dont feel like studying new concepts. You definitely need to get vey familiar with language constructs and some api's in case of DOM and SAX to feel comfortable in the exam.
Once again thanks to everyone on this site. Shall go for some other adventure now...
