2> Which of the following statements MOST accurately describes a "linkbase" ?
(Select 1 correct choice)
A> A linkbase is an XML document which contains links to other resources, which may or may not be XML documents
B> An XML document, which contains inbound or third party links is called a linkbase
C> A linkbase is a series of extended links which link to each other either directly or indirectly.
D> A database of links maintained in an XML document is a linkbase.

Answer : B
Why is the answer B?
My understanding is that a linkbase doesnot contain resources but is a xml doc that has extended links that links other resources.
Lets convert the choices
A) Outbound links
B) Inbound / 3rd party links
C) Any extended link [ direct/indirect, does that mean explicit and implicit arcs?]
D) database of links.
Why cant the answer be A, D or C. why B?

I guess because the question requires MOST accurately description. And in W3C website(http://www.w3.org/TR/xlink/)
you can find a definiation for linkbase like this:
Documents containing collections of inbound and third-party links are called link databases, or linkbases.
