Exercize for the aspirants

All,
I just created myself a problem to solve. Although not very difficult, it turned out not to be so easy.....Thought would share with my Co-Ranch XML Aspirants
Q. Design a DTD AND Schema for a family which contains Husband and/or wife in any order following 0 or more children. Husband and wife should occur 0 or 1 times.
I could arrive at a legthy round about solution, but trying to arive at a more precise solution.

That sounds interesting.
Just to make sure I follow your description - any children are supposed to be first then the wife/husband (or husband/wife), right?
Hmm, does this lead to an "empty" family? Is a family required to have a husband or a wife?

No it cant b an empty family(An empty family doesnt make sense either)...
Husband and/or wife element(s) should be present and if they occur they can occur maximum once.
In a family the first element can be husband or wife. second can be wife or husband or child or none. children can be 0 or more.
Hope I am clear now.

I've got no option but to sell you all for scientific experiments. Or a tiny ad:
