Is IBM XML certifcation good for resume? Does it offer any other advantage than mastering XML.

My impression is that these certifications are resume-worthy. But their value increases exponentially (1) if each one is correlated to actual experience and/or training, and (2) if you list a group of mutually-enforcing certifications (see JCert), and finally (3) if you show a steady pace of experience and new education/certification, year by year.
That's someting I would look for in hiring.
