Hi every one ,
I passed with 72 %.Its not a great score but its still a pass

. Thanks every one on
java ranch. I wouldnt have managed without your support.
Especiall thanks to Lasse for an excellent work as a moderator of this forum ,Satish ,Jeni ,Hari ,Tamber and others who helped clear many of my doubts.
Also this exam isnt all that simple as I was misled by the mocks. I didnt even get one single straight technical question. The mocks or any exams I have given dont touch the level of this exam. Also questions were only 55 and not 58.
I got many scenario questions and they are pretty length descriptions.
It seems one needs to have a really clear understanding conceptually to apply the concepts to a use case scenario.
I got just one question on XSL-FO which needed technical details . No questions at all on security.
My preparation was almost a month. Having 4 years of XML experience on SAX and webservices.
I have gone through every FAQ resource on java ranch and Roseanne Zhang
FAQ for XML was most helpful.
Gone through W3 specs for XML, XPointer ,XPath,XLink and XSL .
Books .
1. XML Specification guide. (An excellent book for DTD and XML valid and well formedness explaination as well as the specs)
2.
J2EE webservices RMH for
SOAP and WSDL (not really required so much depth)
3. Processing XML with Java by Elliot Rusty. (Sufficient for DOM/SAX ).Thats ll I used this for.
4. Professional XML wrox publications.
5. XML by Elliot Rusty
