what do you mean by more complex.

do you want to add more restrictions on the data ?? like data facets, data formats???

these were the errors in your XML file

-- XML file has to start with a xml declaration like <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-889-1" ?>, in you xml file you have something like [i] before the xml declaration.

-- your DTD code has > missing after ] . the format is <!DOCTYPE root-element [elmenet-declarations]>
