Hi Friends,

I have come across the following information in http://www.javaprepare.com/xml/notes/namespaces.html site Item No XI.

XML namespaces contain names of element types and attributes not the elements or attributes themselves.

I am not very clear about the same.
Can some one please give me some details?

Thanks in advance

Regards
Johnson

For example, When u say that "name" element and "id" attribute belong to teh namespace "http://www.names.com", you IMPLY that http://www.names.com namespace will containg name element and id attribute BUT NOT THE VALUES OF THE ELEMENT OR ATTRIBUTE .. just the names of teh name elemnt and attribute ID not the values ..

I guess that is what it meant

If i am wrong, suggestions or different views are welcome
