Hi Frnds,
I've passed the exam couple of days back . The exam was bit complex than I expected.
The useful resources I used ,
1.
www.w3schools.com, www.zvon.org, XML certification Success tutorial
These are the best resources to start with.
2. Professional XML, XML in a Nutshell
I feel these books are very useful to get in depth knowledge.
3. Whizlabs XML Simulator
- Its worth for the money. It'll give lots of scenarios and u can get confidence after taking mock exams.
4.
http://www.javaranch.com/xml/XMLexamList.jsp - free exams. Don't miss that. Very useful questions are there.
Most importantly u have to concentrate on XSL, XPath ans XML Schema. U can expect most of the questions from these areas. XSL-FO, Web Services, Security, XLink, XPointer topics are less important.
Its better to learn all the methods in SAX & DOM as much as possible.
This Forum was very useful for my success in the exam. Let me thank each and everyone who helped me. Mostly all of my questions are answered here.
I just have given my idea abt the preparation. Hope it'll be useful for u guys.
Prepare well & Stay cool. Success will be in ur hand.
Good Luck !
Thanks,
Senthilrajan.
