Hi friends,

I have been posting on this topic since last month regarding info on xml certification 142. Didn't get a single response.
Anyways I am happy to inform you all that I have scored 100% in the XML test 142. The test was easy as compared to my expectation after reading various articles. But I feel its very easy to pass provided your basics are sound enough, easy to score 70%+ if you have some hands on, and have very good chance of scoring 80+ if you have som practical work ex added to it. Since I had all of them it was truely a cake walk.

Thanks guys, for any info you can post I will reply provided you keep your querry bit short and not descriptive.

Cheers

Hi Friends,

Sorry to be late in replying.
I would like to recommend following materials for the test based on priority:
1. Go thru the IBM test 142 material available at the developerworks wbesite:
http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/xml
To begin with this 5 part tutorial gives a good idea about the standard of the exam.

2. XML Nutshell should be enough to prepare for 85% of the objectives of the exam. Need not refer any other books like Professional XML.

3 For XForms, XLink w3schools is enough from exam point of view. Infact for al go thru w3schools which is very usefull.

4. For JAXB you can take any online article and have some idea on whats is it and what consists of.

Thats it guys, if you go thru above material scoring 70% is easy enough and to score more, practice well and take test in any simulator like whizlab etc. in the market will be enogh.

Test is easy need not be tensed much guys..

Cheers...
