error while modifying log4j.xml

hi,

I am trying to change the log level in log4j.xml file in WEB-INF folder in a servlet as shown below.



Now, at the last line I am getting the following error as follows:

Are you programatically trying to change the log level of your application ?
Is the xml configuration file present in the location mentioned in the exception ?
