Hi folks,
I had posted notes while preparing for the beta for SCMAD and received great support from the ranchers regarding corrections and suggestions.
Along the same note (no pun intended!), I shall be posting my notes for the SCDJWS beta (for which I have registered) on my website.
Since I have relatively less knowledge in Web Services (as opposed to J2ME), I would very much appreciate your suggestions and corrections to make the notes better.
I will be taking notes mostly from the specs. and from the books I have specified in the references section.

Here's to hoping for a good show in the SCDJWS exam. Best wishes and good luck to everyone.
I will be updating this thread as and when I come up with new notes.

Hi Sathya,
Thanks for your notes.
Your notes did help me a lot in preparing SCMAD. I hope I can master SCDJWS as well.

Hi Nick,
Thanks for the comments.
I have posted the next chapter (Objective 3 - WSDL) on the website. Please let me know if there are errors/suggestions.
Due to my relative inexperience, I will be constantly updating the notes as and when my concepts become stronger. So do check back.

Thanks. I just finished reading the WSDL part of the J2EE Web Services book. Now I can do a review using your notes.

Hi Sathya,
Thanks for sharing with us your hardwork. I noticed a typo in the objectives, the exam code should have been 311 instead of 310. Not a significant typo though.
Anyway, I really like the way you beautified the objectives, much much neater.
A big thanks!

Definitely, let me echo all the thanks for the notes. I found them a very useful resource for preparing for the SCMAD exam, and am hoping they'll be equally so for this new one.

Hi all,
Thanks for the encouragement. I received a lot of feedback when I prepared my notes for the SCMAD exam. Hoping to get the same here too.
I have posted Chapter 1 - XML on my site. Please let me know of comments/suggestions.
Cheng, thanks for pointing out the error. I have corrected it.

I think you should frequently visit HIS site. I visit his site everyday.
He really did a cool job for helping us to prepare SCMAD and SCDJWS. I am looking forward to read his notes, when SCEA part I beta, and SCJP 1.5 beta release.

Hi all,

Thanks for your words of encouragement. I am sorry for the relatively slow update to my SCDJWS notes as compared to my SCMAD notes. It's just that I find the SCDJWS portions too vast!

I will try to increase my pace and put more notes soon.
