I received my voucher on 23 Apr 2004.


are there any restrictions about test time(the time you will take test)?


The exam period is 29 Apr - 23 May 2004.
The only restriction is that you must be a SCJP.

I received a email today about applying the free voucher, but I checked sun's web site, I didnot find infomation about the certificate.

Since beta exams are not publicly released, and thus, you wont be able to find any info about them.
When you received your voucher, you will also know the exam objectives.
In fact, some people have posted the exam objectives here somedays ago, you may need to search them out.

It depends on how many vouchers left. SUN expects 400 candidates in total. You may need to wait for 5-7 business days to know this answer.

Just wanna make a bit comment.
Actually, information about this beta exam can be found on sun's official web site here, seems Sun had just made up this page because so many people have complained about beta infomation being not available online
So even the wisest guy like nick could also make mistakes

I am really lucky. I got free voucher this morning (May. 10, 2004). I applied for it on May. 8.2004. I am a really newbie about web service. Would you give me some suggestion?

SCDJWS Voucher email says the expiring date is May 23, 2004.

According to the latest Sun web site:

SCDJWS beta test expiring date is June 6, 2004

Looks like the expiring date has been postponed to June 6, 2004.

Anyone can confirm it?
