Just coming from the test center

The exam might sound tough to newbies
I have ~5 yrs of j2ee work ex and have worked on WS using axis
Even before that I knew xml, schema, namespaces, sax, dom well
So for such guys, its a piece of cake

I still do not know anything about UDDI / JAXR ! Never had time to read
Many questions on JAXR, but hardly any of them talked about some particular api , I used
JIT guesser neuron to solve them
I had the RMH book , thanks to pradeep bhat who lended it to me for the exam

Let me share some imp topics

1) document / rpc - how/when to use them , corresponding parts/message format in wsdl
2) please read security stuff from Great work mikalai !
Even if u have only and hour or two for it
Many questions can be answered
you do not have to remember which ws:security tag goes into which
you just need info about, what to use when, just skip the syntax part
about 20+ questions

one more link
3) many many questions on JAXR, less on UDDI
again, forget the syntax
i had questions on , whether jaxr is mandatory in j2e1.4 / BP , what all can we do with it
about 15+ questions
4) when/why to use JSE / EJB based endpoint
many many question related to this
e.g. when u need mathod-level authorization, u go for ejb
for transactions ejbs are easier (u can always use JTA in servlets, in an app server)
JSE will give u easy configuration for basic authentication/ssl etc

5) many questions were on schema / namespaces
easy stuff

6) if u dont know jaxb, just find out what it does, forget syntax again

7) some questions on when/why to use sax / dom / trax
how to use Templates class in trax

8) many questions on message handlers

many drag n drop (pattern matching) questions were buggy
They had no text on the label
so i missed 5-7 questions just like that
god help u

Thankfully not many questions this time on syntax of deployment descriptors

Best Wishes
