1. J2EE Web Services by RMH

2. Designing Web Services With the J2EE 1.4 Platform by SUN BluePrint's Team

You can read the XML Schema,SOAP,WSDL, UDDI from RMH.

For API oriented topics I would prefer reading the JWSD tutorial from SUN.
For topics like SAAJ, JAX-RPC,JAXR tutorial from SUN gives good material.
RMH's material for these topics is kind of toooooooooo descriptive and time consuuuuuuuming. I would recommend reading the material from SUN tutorial for API oriented topics and then glancing through the RMH book.
