if you don't have any web services development experience at all, i would say you need 3 months or so with spending 4 hours every day to digest the objective-related materials.

good luck!

Hi Yamini,

I am planning to appear for the certification by end of next month. Just last week I bought J2EE WebServices by RMH.I found the book really good. Apart from this I have Begining WebServices by Wrox. Even that book is good. But it's not as informative as RMH book.

When are you planning to appear for the exam? I can devote 4 hours a week and then week ends. So, I am willing to finish it up very fast. I have posted the a message asking ppl to give a rough estimates for the same.

If u have plans to seriously start preparations, we can prepare together. If we work in group, we would be more serious and have more continuity. Or if you know any one else really interested in appearing for the certifications very soon do let me know.

Regards,

Hi James / Yamini,

[For James] It would be really nice to prepare for certifications together. I am ready for it. Let me know what is ur status currently and what are your plans.

[For Yamini] Yes, I will be doing some hands on before taking the exam. Infact I am planning to create or take a small scenario and implement webservices features. This would give some practical knowlege of the subject.

I am reachable at naveen.sinha@gmail.com

Naveen
