A few days back..
I had to take the SCDJWS exam, not because I am prepared for it but I promised somone that I will take it on that day. I am familiar with web services basics so thought it will be damn easy to clear the exam.
Looked at this forum and found that RMH and MZ are the two important things to study. Quickly started to read RMH and with great diffculty I was able to complete a quick browse thruogh the book just before the exam. Just before I entered the exam I thought wish I had time to look at whats there at MZ.
The exam started .. It was really really easy. Oh no, there comes the Security questions which I have no clue of and there a lot of them. I was left with 40 minutes and I cliked on the End button. :-) Failed with a score of 65% ( 45/69 ) . I went and told everyone that the exam was very easy just it needed reading of a couple of objectives that I had no idea of.
I forgot about it and started doing my usual work. 3 days before I made a promise again that I will clear the exam again. As I had to do my usual work along with the preparation , my only choice was to start the preparation where I left it.
Read the entire MZ. A few hours before I went to the exam, I got the MZ JWS Quiz, but unfortunately I did'nt had time to do/read the Quiz. Anyway I was in the exam.
Honestly was expecting that atleast most of the questions that I already got in my first attempt would appear. Guess what, I believe only one question turned up from that set. And this time, I felt the exam was atleast 30% tougher than my first set. And this time I was not left with any extra time by the time I finished the
test.
Result is pass with a score of 88%.
For those who already know some basics of wsdl, a quick read of RMH and MZ will be a sure pass and probably based on my experience 5 days of prepartion should do to pass the exam.
PS: Don't ask me why I was making those promised with out any preparation for the exam.
