WS-Basic Profile overrides SOAP specs in some aspects. In the exam, if there is a question about the validity of a SOAP message, what is the reference to use to check for the validity ? Is it the WS-Basic Profile or the SOAP specs ?
If the question clearly mentions "as per BP1.0",then there is no doubt.
Even if in question it's not clearly mention,then as my understanding we should give answer as per BP1.0 suggestions,because for web service to be interopertability,we need to follow BP1.0.

That's absolutely correct. The WS Basic Profile takes precedence over the SOAP 1.1 Note. But don't worry, the exam will mention whether the question should be answered in the context of WS BP or not. As far as I can remember, it will always be the case...
