Hi all,

I am thinking of taking SCDJWS.

I note the reccomended reading here: http://www.valoxo.ch/jr/SCDJWS_Links.html

Is that information up to date?

Is there any other study material that anyone would reccomend, that is not on the list?

I guess my real question, to the past masters, is...where do I start?

Cheers,

Simon.

Not all recommended reading are necessary. I would advise you to read
- J2EE Webservices
- Blueprints
- Mikalai Zaikin's notes

Success!

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback.

I understand two of the references, i.e:

1) "J2EE Webservices" - As in the book by Richard Monson-Haefel (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0321146182/ref=ase_electricporkchop/102-3533846-3273752?v=glance&s=books)

2) "Mikalai Zaikin's notes" - As in http://java.boot.by/wsd-guide/

But, I am not sure what you mean by "Blueprints". Do you mean http://java.sun.com/blueprints/webservices/index.html

Thanks again, I do appreciate your help.

Cheers,

Simon.

Hi Simon,

Yes, I try to keep my links list up to date. However, everything that stands on it is only recommended and not mandatory reading.

Good luck with the exam
