This is a question to Val or whoever is moderating this forum.

Why do you stress on posting the exam experiences et al, in the Results forum which is big ocean. Trawling through them to find the experiences is a huge task.

I believe this particular forum is a medium for sharing experiences, thoughts, tools used VERY SPECIFIC to SCDJWS exam only.

Thanks
Laddu

1++ from mee too.

Its easy to have related *results* and *experiences* for each foroum

May be JavaRanch should come up with some *personalization* option for the website like the IBM developers works.

Cheers,
Wajid.

I completely agree with you guys.

The problem is an historical one. Basically, experience has shown that only 10-20% of the result threads actually contain something useful to the forum. Typically, someone would just say "Hey I passed with 90%" and people would just congratulate the thread starter and that's all. We decided that such threads that did not contain anything useful for the forum would be moved to the results forum where people could congratulate themselves over and over.

Now, the idea for certification forums is that you can post a "hey I passed" thread in the results forum and then post another "here is my experience" thread in this forum that would talk about your experiences with the exam so that other aspirants could benefit from the acquired knowledge.

Does this sound reasonable ?
