Hi Valentin Crettaz,

Another doubt on your whizlab practice exam question #16 answer coming up:

in your answer, you explain that the TrAx is NOT contained in JAXP1.2 API.

but in MZ study guide page 86, it says the TrAX is part of the JAXP API.

Who is correct? Whizelab or MZ note???

I did some research, such as http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/1.5/jaxp/index.html

tell us that "....The JAXP 1.2 specification is a maintenance release of JAXP 1.1 and adds support for W3C XML Schema. The JAXP 1.1 specification adds additional functionality over the previous version 1.0. In particular, version 1.1 includes an XSLT framework based on TrAX (Transformation API for XML) plus some updates to the parsing API to support DOM Level 2 and SAX version 2.0 and an improved scheme to locate pluggable implementations."

Hi

I got the reply from Whizlab. The original answer ruled out the TrAX as part of JAXP1.2, now the author corrected the answer(Now they select the TrAX as of one the correct answer since the TrAX is part of the JAXP1.2).
