Hello Everybody
I am having a seminar and we have to discuss on the topic "What Is Java and Its Origin" i tried a lot but could not find it anywhere. pls can somebody help in getting some information on it. i would be very glad

Hi Jitin, i suggest you to read the introctory chapter of Java 2 : How To Program by Deitel & Deitel and Java 2 The Complete Reference by Herbert Schield.
Java was origined from C/C++ and named Oak earlier. The Green Project Team of Sun Microsystems Inc. took a pjoect @ the end of 1990 led by James Gosling.
I m actually writing an article on this will let you know if i find something good for you....
