Hi,
I need to save some temp files in a temporary location during run time. And i don't want that temp location to hard code in my servlet. So what is the best place to document this temp location.
I thought of having this location documented in a properties file. the content of the property would be something like:
temploc=C:/projects/server/tomcat-5.5.20/webapps/MyApp/Temp

but i couldn't read this properties file in my servlet code using relative path or something.

either let me know a way to read this properties file in my servlet code using relative path or tell me an alternate to document this location.

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
