Hi All,

When I tried to deploy the wsdd file from the command prompt using:

java org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient server-config.wsdd

I am getting the following error:

Processing file server-config.wsdd
Exception: AxisFault
faultCode: {http://xml.apache.org/axis/}Server.NoService
faultSubcode:
faultString: The AXIS engine could not find a target service to invoke! target
Service is null
faultActor:
....

My wsdd file is as following:

<deployment xmlns="http://xml.apache.org/axis/wsdd/" xmlns:java="http://xml.apache.org/axis/wsdd/providers/java">

<service name="MyFirstService" provider="java:RPC">
<parameter name="className" value="samples.math.Calculator"/>
<parameter name="allowedMethods" value="*"/>
<parameter name="scope" value="application"/>
</service>
</deployment>

Please let me know what is going wrong here.

Thanks in advance!
Srini

Srinivasan,

Your deploy.wsdd (server-config.wsdd) looks good to me but I guess you are not using the complete path name while you are running your .wsdd file ..

below is the example of my test program. and 'svq' is my war file which has the service method.

hope that helps.

Thanks,
Ugender
