I think no Sun certification required the practical experience. It is up to you for what purpose you are taking the exam. I think it is one of the way to test your knowledge on the topics on which you have not work. Passing the exam is not important, but it is important how you satisfied with your own preparation.

Can any tellme if I clear certification will I get opportunity to expose myself or still I should require some sort of practical knowledge. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

I think that it's much easier to prepare for Sun's exams if you have practical experience with the concepts before you sit down for the test itself. There's just something about having real-world experience that makes the preparation that much easier.
