Can you tell me as to what should i download for trying out examples for SCDJWS?

I came to know from the forum that i require sun application server. What else do i require?

You need to download the WS 2.0 too. Link is in the FAQ section.

It is not clear what your problem is.

First you install the Sun Java System Application Server PE 8.2.

Then you install the Java Web Services Developer Pack 2.0

Now you should be ready to follow the relevant J2EE/WST tutorials like Building Web Services with JAX-RPC and Binding XML Schema to Java Classes with JAXB.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
