hi all,
Can anyone tell me that to do Web Services Certification (SCDJWS)
which path is suitable.

SCJP -> SCWCD -> SCDJWS

or

SCJP -> SCBCD -> SCDJWS

Only the SCJP is a prerequisite of the SCDJWS.

Yes. On Papers only SCJP is required. but I mean what is suitable. Should i get enough experience with EJBs and WebTiers (Servlets, JSP Tags) before entering into Web Services domain ? My target is to become a SOA but i donot know how to get it. ( I mean by chosing right career steps)

In the past i have worked with PHP and mySQL around 2 years. Then worked with Python and Unix scripting/Administration around 1 year. Since few months I am working in Java.

There's a lot of hype about SOA, but perhaps less to it than meets the eye; that may still change though. In practice, any company that uses WS will also have web apps or EJB/DB apps, so either of those exams would help. There are certainly more companies that use servlets/JSPs than those that use EJB, so I'd say the SCWCD is more useful than the SCBCD. Even better would be actual experience, of course.

Thanks for your advice. Right now i am doing a project which has much to do with Servlets and JSPs.
Good night. Drive safely. Here's a tiny ad for the road:
