I am preparing for web service certification. After gone through the RMH book, I want to try to do some coding on webservice. After a long consideration on choosing which application server/ide for working, I have selected Sun Application Server 8.0 with NetBeans 5.0. I have installed both and created one web application having only index.jsp. I have build the project and when I deployed it, I am getting the following error. I have thought since I am getting major/minor issue, it may be problem with JDK compatibility. Previously I have used JDK 1.4.2 and I have changed it to JDK 1.5. But, then also I am getting the same error.
I can able to build the project, but not able to deploy it. I have two questions on it?

1. I am having only jsp file(index.jsp alone, which was created by IDE), not java/servlet/ejb files, then why I am getting "Fatal Error from EJB Compiler"?

2. How to resolve this issue?

3. Whether I can use Sun Application Server 8.0 with NetBeans 5.0 or anyother server/ide is suggested?
